South Korea's president declared martial law

I'm so confused because his excuse is that North Korea is acting up but i haven't found a single thing that actually explains what NK are doing, how, when, or why martial law was the "logical choice". It sounds like nonsense no matter what article i read   1 reply

What the hell, he literally prevented parliament members from entering the National Assembly to vote, using military men to block them? Parliament fought their way in with the help of Korean citizens. I also read that he actually did this because he and his wife are facing corruption allegations, and he was already facing impeachment.   reply
