I understand that fear lmao. But the awesome thing is that if people happen to dislike your art, you have an easier time filtering your audience lol. And the more you post your art, the easier it will be for you to find your crowd. Also try not to read into what people say online too much, because finding tone from text is incredibly difficult. I've seen other people say this so it's definitely not just a you thing, but personally I can't relate at allll. Honestly I'm too comfortable posting my art online. Like a bit of shame would've been good for me because why did I try to do an art trade with the person whose art I had been tracing for months at that point and then they called me out......   reply
