I got scared and broke out into a cold sweat when I realized that my favorite yarn color wasn’t being sold on the official website. I scoured the internet from middle man websites to buy 3 more hanks of yarn. It’s becoming a problem…
wait isnt there a way to just dye the yarn?? or would that destroy it cus like im looking for a specific color but not avalable in any sewing stores in my area nor online too but few ppl told me to just dye it
All yarn is dyed, but the yarn I mostly buy is custom hand dyed yarn. That means that every similar yarn of that gradient or variegate is slightly different because of human approximation. Dying gradient/ variegated yarn effectively takes a lot of skill. If you just want to color match a solid color, then maybe you can get an all white base and dye, but you’d def need to look up YouTube videos and tutorials because the set up and expenses is a whole process.
Yes they were, but not the color I wanted. This color is discontinued from the current lucky feet color ways. Also, There’s only a $1.85 per skein difference from where I bought it and Amazon. The only thing that hiked up the price was that $9.09 shipping. So about a $20 extra on the total just to buy the discontinued yarn with the shipping. IMO, not that bad
