tbh i never understood the hype for this trope "omg i hope he GROVELS and BEGS for her forgiveness before the fl takes him back" how is this a W for the fl when she gets back together w/ her abuser who gave her lifetime's worth of trauma? i much prefer stories where the fl moves on and has a hot girl summer and stays single or finds another man who treats her right
I want them on the verge of death, on their knees in the rain, pathetically crying, regretting everything they've ever done to the MC. Most authors don't go far enough imo. reply
