GORE FANS
What are ya'll thoughts on "gore enjoyers"? Personally, I’m not a fan of gore or its fans because I can’t understand how someone normal could ENJOY watching others get decapitated or endure other horrific things. What frustrates me even more is that most of them equate GORE with HORROR. Like, BLUD STFU. They are NOT the same.
To normal people, horror gives a thrill and an adrenaline rush, while gore just terrifies them in a deeply disturbing way. Sure, some horror does include subtle elements of gore, but it’s not consistent throughout every movie or series. I think there needs to be better awareness and proper separation between the two genres. Some directors put extreme gore under the "horror" category, and honestly, it’s disgusting—please stop.
And recently, I found out something even worse: there are websites on the internet that host uncensored videos of REAL HORRIFIC DEATHS under the category of "gore." And people actually watch them? Like, do you not have any respect for the dead? Movies, fine—you’re weird. But real-life videos? What does that say about you? That’s pure psychotic behavior. STAY AWAY FROM THE SOCIETY.
This genuinely sickens me.
If people one here can jack off to rape and shotaloli, gore does not hold a candle to that. Gore and horror are "closely" associated, it's a fkin horror subgenre, many good and mainstream horror media include gore. Wait till you learn about ero guro, if you think gore is "bad". Those websites that feature people dying, and a few videos that pop up ......

Imo being curious about gore in itself isn’t incriminating, specially if it’s fictional. I mean, it’s natural, death is inevitable for all living organisms regardless of how awful it is. But I do think people who have a strange obsession with gore are definitely insane in the membrane, especially the websites that upload REAL tragic deaths fo......

fictional gore I don't care tbh, gore counts as horror yeah I know, when I look for horror movies hoping for something creepy and end up finding 80% of popular scary movies are just slasher/gore movies is disappointing, but slasher/gore movies count as horror. other than that I agree with your point about real people's gore, my ex-classmates had a ......

i'm not a fan of gore but i rather watch gore than ghost stories. gore falls under horror genre because it's terrifying and scary. watch corpse party: tortured souls for gore if you can handle that then i think you're gonna be fine

i dont wanna yuck someones yum or whatever but if your primary reason for watching anything let alone real life gore is that you enjoy seeing people suffer, you are a deeply disturbed person. yes, even if its a movie. you dont get to be a psychopath and then pretend its a quirky personality trait.

Geez, you only just found out about the gallery sites? RIP. I’ve been seeing those forever. My dad used Ogrish a lot when I was a kid, back when the site was still up ughhh I still remember it ╥﹏╥
I would say he’s normal, but ik he’s killed some people. But he is a productive member of society now, so that counts for something, right?
