Regaining trust again is impossible

I lie alot to protect myself or others around me similarly to how I lied about a certain truth to people I loved. When it was found out they were betrayed but I know no matter the reason is, a lie is still a lie and I shattered their trust forever. It's a broken glass forever no matter how much you try to fix it but all you gotta do is "move on and leave it".

I wish there was a way I could undo the lie and I wish I could make them be comfy again... I wish upon many many things. I just can't do anything but feel bad for them.

That hit me really hard. I genuinely wish sometimes the lie was the truth and I tried to make it one. I really tried to end "it".
