I fell asleep while watching LOTR

Some people will say I am a dumbass or say how could you?!? I don’t get it. I got to that part where Frodo and his friends went to the pub I think that’s what it was called and then idk what happened after. I want to get into it again but it’s really hard to watch it and not fall asleep. I tried watching it so many times. Either I get distracted or bored and zone out or fall asleep.
