Am I the only one who dislike reading Doujinshi (Yaoi version) of manga/anime which I have read?
I like yaoi & shounen ai, but i really cannot fathom that characters that I have read and known are being shipped around and sexualized.. Eg, Detective Conan, Naruto
But, i still read doujinshi for manga/anime that i havent read since I have no emotional connection with the characters.. Eg. Gintama, Free!, Yuri on Ice
Same. I only read the ones that I have no idea who the characters are too. I don’t want to read anything non-canon if it’s a series I am familiar with. 1 reply
