What is toxic yaoi?

Recently I had looked for recommendations (on twitter) for toxic yaoi but when I read the recommendations they all included rxpe + other non consensual abuse. I was under the impression that toxic yaoi was a toxic relationship where the relationship is hurting both or one people emotionally, for example banana scandal. Yaoi that includes rxpe etc. I would consider that dark yaoi but idk. So now I am left wondering what is this toxic yaoi everyone is talking about?

I always thought toxic yaoi was just yaoi where the actual topic of the had to be about the toxicity. Like if you just add in some toxic relationship factor, but you don't really do anything about it other than the fact that it's there... that's just a bad yaoi lmao.
