You seem confused A bar is the epicentre of loud people. Loud people literally come together in bars. Even people who aren't loud end up being loud in bars. That's totally normal. Not liking loud people is fine, but expecting no loud people in a bar is odd. And being outraged by loud people in a bar ("it was a bar ffs!") is even weirder. And YES ......   1 reply

If you go to any place that serves food/drinks like restaurants and bars expect it to be somewhat loud. Even if they were loud your friend was out of line saying loud gays and you defending her (unknown what exactly you said) may have been inappropriate to your friends.
