is paying legal for comics worth it?

tbh some ppl say it isnt which i understand but as an artist i understand why its worth alot, depending on the site ... most authors only get paid a small % of their manhwa earnings. They're underpaid and work weekly and drawing like that is so draining, idc how bad or good the story is. Someone still worked hard for that, some authors get sick even like the love jinx author, i feel bad for them but everyone complained way too much on the ending.

i get that it sucks, but the author defo just wanted to end it and probs retire to just rest. It reminded me these authors/artist have their own life and bills to pay. Health to take care of. id probably make shitty manhwa too if I make alot of money from it cus being an artist/writers sucks cus a.i is taking over since its "cheaper" i mean if thats the case would yall read ai generated manhwa cus its cheap and free?
