yeah NO, this isnt how autism works. i have autism and its not something i wish i had. yes it explains how i am BECAUSE i'm autistic but its a disability for a reason. did you know as a diagnosed autistic person LOTS of countries wont accept you in bc you will be a toll on their health care? places wont hire you, autistic people are more likely to ......   2 reply

As someone who has Asperger's Syndrome and has an autistic cousin and niece, I sincerely hope your comment is a commentary on how fucking ridiculous it sounds, not to mention insensitive, when people say things like "I wish I was autistic" or "being autistic is like having a super power".
