The pace is too fast without moments to breathe between fights and action
You can't kill a character without letting us know and care for them.

There was this one manhua i read and it was basically selfcest cos the mc went back in time in a rich girl's body and basically helped his old self get whipped into shape and his old self started to get a crush on the mc.
