Absolutely! if you are AFAB PMDD is really a thing. I don't have PMDD but I have Endo and PCOS, I would get sent into pain flares which severely hit my mental health. not to mention the chronic fatigue and migraines. ADHD or ASD can also make your cycle worse.   reply

i'm mentally ill and honestly, i don't feel too different in my period. i'm always depressed, so if i'm depressed in my period i wouldn't be able to tell. the only thing i've noticed is that when i'm near my period, my reasons for being sad are different as i tend to feel alone (something that when i'm in a depressive episode doesn't really bother ......   reply

tbh it’s kinda normal to have mood swings and stuff before/during because you’re hormones go crazy during ur period. I have friends not diagnosed with anything and they also get bad mood swings before their period. It COULD potentially be because of mental illness or something deeper though so if you’re really worried i’d probably talk to a......   reply
