Your opinion….
So I was thinking, how do you guys feel about the troupe “immigration/isekai into someone who is not loved by anyone but actually the ml did love her” and when the ml meets the new fl he’s like woooow she’s different but falls in love with the new person.
Imo… it kinda makes light of the ml feelings for the original fl…like he loved her thru so much and was the only supporter for her or loved her even when everyone else didn’t, and suddenly he loves the new her without question? Sometimes the story even goes as far as making him love the new person more than original fl.
I can sometimes see it as the ML thinking that the FL is growing as a person and he is happy for her….but if they get a happily ever after…isn’t that just deceiving him? But if the story does go through with revealing the secret of different person (reincarnation, isekai, immigration, or just in general a diff existence than before) and he still loves her…that’s kinda crazy imo. Like he just moves on.
especially with sometimes the stories goes with he loved the original fl this whole time cause she did blah blah blah. (She was special or supported them when they needed it) and then they like the new girl, ??????????.
Am i the only one?????
Kinda confusing when I’m referencing a general genre and troupe cause of the different storylines, hopefully it’s still legible and understandable.
This is a bl novel but it explores a similar idea. The ML falls for the transmigrator (the person who isekai-ed) but eventually they return the body back to the original person (MC). The novel starts here when the MC returns to their body and realizes that everyone around them preferred the transmigrator. It's a short read and I really liked it.
