jp twt vs "western tourist" thoughts?
Have yall seen the shit that went down? Apparently a jp artist (@bkub_comic) posted an artwork of a dark skinned character, got harassed by some "western tourist" for shading the skin tone too light, and now jp twt are done with art policing and are planning to harass people back. jp twt also started compiling all the "blackwashing" characters done and calling the double standards. "Rules for me but not for thee".
It's just a race war and racists on the loose from both sides lmao. But from what I gathered
Western tourist: dont whitewash dark skinned characters
Jp twt: but you guys blackwash asian characters
Western tourist: purpose is to bring diversity through art.
Jp twt: but it's japan, ASIAN country. Dark skin asian =/= black.
Western tourist: RACIST!
Jp twt: wtf fuck you western tourist

acting like racism is some sort of fun gossip and responding to it as though its entertainment for u is very weird ngl… its obviously once again a case of non black people being obsessed with aggravating black people through “micro aggressions” which arent really micro but thats another conversation
