Do you think ghost-hunting content disrespects the dead?

I know this might be a dumb question, but when I watch ghost-hunting videos, some of them make me feel a bit uneasy. There are places where real tragedies happened—like buildings that burned down with people inside, or where people were murdered in horrific ways, or asylums and jails where people were tortured. Yet, somehow, these tragedies get dismissed, and the focus becomes all about ghosts. Some ghost hunters even try to act like jerks just to provoke the 'ghosts.' Come on, guys—those were real human beings who died in tragic ways. Honestly, I don't see this question getting asked very often.
