Am I a bad person or was it just the wrong place wrong time situation

So me and friend of 5yrs was just joking around, making jokes nd pissing each other off like how we usually do but today they was like rlly snappy nd quiet I knew they was thinking about something rlly hard cause they were zoned out the entire day, I thought they was high at first but while we was chilling at our favorite spot at the park they started talking about how we've been friends for a long time and it went from that to him talking about how much compatible we are during super snash bros and how nice it'll be if we were involved romantically, he asked "why are we still just bestfriends" and my dumb ahh responded with "skill issue" we laughed it off but bro is not letting me hit anymore
