"Some things end up bad but it doesn't mean you were a fool for loving it once." it taught me to cherish things and seriously stop being a hater 24/7 and it led me to forgive people and see them more in a broader aspect. You have to prioritize yourself even if it makes you the bad guy. Even when you make sacrifices for others, it should be something you want to do. If you don’t have the energy or space to help, then don’t. It’s okay to put yourself first. The one person that should always support you, is you.

Learning that someone in my family shoved MY deodorant up their literal ass and didn't clean it off right. So I had to learn the hard way about it by discovering shit on my hand and underneath the deodorant rim.
