My phobia doesn’t have its own name but the category it fits into is submechanophobia which is a fear of submerged man made objects. From a young kid I was always afraid of the filters or intakes at the bottom of swimming pools. they are really scary looking and I was afraid that my hair could get caught in them or they could suck me towards them......
