I'm also gonna face the same problems in a couple of years. My tactic is to become a very successful version of me so that my parents take my opinion seriously and not gloss over it as someone who hasn't even gotten their life figured out. Personally I'd act like I care get to those arranged dates or wtv and turn those ppl down if I don't rly like them uk. But if ur fam like want to get u married right away with no engagement or dates ig u just run for ur life girl(〜￣△￣)〜 Or u could honestly ask for grownups around u who understand that this is wrong to stand up with you u......   1 reply

I think pretending to kill yourself always works, like I've seen this in movies atleast lol. Also if you already have a boyfriend why don't you introduce him to your parents and see if they'll let you off the hook for a while. (Don't do this if your parents are strict and traditional tho).
