What I can't see doesn't look nice, what I can't eat doesn't taste good: 看不见的，不好看。吃不着的，不好吃。
(Of course don't be stupid about it, but generally, the idea is that there's too much in the world that we don't have and will never have. If that's the case, then don't be greedy for it. Live within your means.)
