YES! The terms are completely fine and are harmless if you’re just using it to define the top/bottom, but the way bl readers label an entire character and call them by ‘uke’ or ‘seme’ is so weird when they could easily say mc/ml like a het manga does??   reply

Words like Top, Bottom, Vers and a bunch of other words are used to signal what sort of intimacy you're into if you're going to be intimate with someone of the same gender - Seme and Uke are also just words.... It only becomes a problem when degenerates add extra value to those words by being weird....   reply
