What was the best plot twist you ever seen before? Like it was so good you literally had to stop reading/watching for a minute and think about life and wtf just happened ( of course it didn't literally have to make you do this but you get my point)

The Departed, that ending is one of the best scenes I've ever seen in a movie, and takes an amazing film into one of the best of all time. Chinatown also, there's a reason why that movies held up as one of the best of all time despite the director hiding out in France on pedophilia charges for the past 40 years. reply

it's really shitty, but I'm always disappointed because i can predict the plot twists most of the time.
