Real person fiction always makes me uncomfortable. Like, those aren’t fictional characters but like real life people. If you search their name, you don’t get a movie, show, or book… you get an actual person. It’s one thing if it’s someone historical, with little known facts (Jack the ripper), it’s quite another thing when you can go t......   reply

Tbh I know that it's disgusting amd wierd to write fiction about real people. I mean most of the fanfictions about real people are full of smut. But still knowing that I've always loved reading fanfictions. I just like thinking of them as if I'm reading any normal series with the real people just being actors performing that role. Involving real people is a no for me. At that point, it's no longer "just fiction" imo. I also feel similarly about shipping real people too. I don't like putting those kinds of expectations and thoughts onto real people. It feels invasive and dismissive of their autonomy.   reply
