How do you think mpreg surrogacy works in BL omegaverse?
I'm curious how you guys are processing it when a male omega is a surrogate. Like for example, the omega in 'A Tiger's Den'. But this is not specific to that manhwa, I'm asking generally.
I've been reading mpreg contents for ages and it never bothered me how the baby is formed in the usual way (aka knotting the omega) but what if the omega is only a surrogate?(/TДT)/
I researched and it says that mpreg surrogacy typically involves the process of Artificial Insemination, wherein the alpha's sperm is introduced into the surrogate omega's body, and then it fertilizes an egg that the omega has already produced. But I believe that's not conclusive, bcs creators can build their world of omegaverse however they want.
I know it doesn't make sense irl how the baby was formed, mpreg in bl omegaverse is just like fantasy trope in fiction but do you think the embryo was pre-formed during a laboratory process before it was implanted into the omega's womb?
Or the omega's genetic material or fluid or smth (irdk if I should say egg or sperm) took part in the fertilization process to join forces with the alpha's sperm to form the embryo?
Or the alpha's sperm magically formed into an embryo once it was injected or placed inside an omega's womb? I mean if the omega don't ovulate eggs and just only have womb/uterus.
Just asking it here bcs the recent question about omegas having period reminded me that I once wondered about this surrogacy thingy with a little guess in mind that maybe omegas do ovulate but not expelling anything, instead, they go into heat like female cats.
Idk about the artificial insemination answers because if I remember correctly, they need to knot to make the omega pregnant. That’s usually why alphas have to have sex with the omegas to make a baby when they had a partner who couldn’t get pregnant. So I feel like the key point is knotting.
