i dont think its because you're growing older and such. It's definitely just overconsumption of media that's raising your brain's bar for what's entertaining and whatever produces the most fun chemicals in there. Watch only what convinces you its going good in at least one field(cinematography, direction, the tropes, etc)   2 reply

I had same experience in 2022 Like all the genre of anime used to be so cool and fun for me till 2019, but slowly I was losing interest on them so I switched to manga manhwas and I was actually enjoying them better than the anime. I never was much drawn to kdrama but I did enjoyed watching few alongside from time to time. But slowly even manga man......   reply

I feel you, especially animes like only a few can keep me entertained (Dandadan looks promising btw!!). Maybe it's bc tiktok rot my brain idk lmao For kdramas I'd recommend The frog I binge watched it it was soooo good   reply

If you only read limited genres, go look what's outside those genres because you're most likely missing out on great stuff. Also don't judge the cover/description, try thing you think you might not like because it can absolutely surprise you. You can also have better luck with picking out manga/manhwa with more unique art styles.   reply

i had the same exact experience the thing is though, when i was younger and reading things like corny romance webtoons and corny shounen anime, it was really enjoyable for me. now that I'm older though, i find it boring and stupid, but that's only because those are targeted toward younger audiences and they have the same structure as each other an......   1 reply

Real I haven’t watched an anime in so long. I wanted to watch jjk and I just couldnt finish it bc of how boring it was. I’ve been hooked on love next door though but it’s hard paying attention. These days I just read manga/manhwa and web novels and don’t really watch anime or dramas.   reply

thats why i focus at them one at a time. like this year im hyperfixated on manhwas but the previous year, it was kdramas. next year im thinking jdrama. or else im gonna feel burnt out on all my interests   reply
