An unreasonable ick (more about setting than characters): is it just me or do college manhwa have like… a timeless dimensionless setting… like nothing really special happens in the college progress-wise that shows the actual passing of time. It feels like a null void setting, and the other happening places are bars or cafés and the character’s beds (where the characters are most often living on their own). Maybe it’s the college life phenomena where you just go to bars attend and miss lectures and try to get laid in a X-years long vacation (however many years the degree is)
But something about it feels stale and stagnant lmao idk if it’s just me.
Compare it with highschool settings and work settings. They feel different.

*OMG I got an insight. Even the highschool setting in manhwa feels like that. And work setting too.
Is it just a manhwa thing? Because in manga these backdrops feel lively.
