I think this happens a lot esp when the story gets big and famous so the author has to somehow keep making content and the original plot that was supposed to b like a direct plot, is now getting milked for all its worth to make money lol and tbh if it's well done it could b good but if not (which is what happens in most cases) it's just so annoying......   1 reply

U know manga/hwa/hua is like family tree it wont end until the very roots of it perish into nothiness. So author will introduce another variations stories or add sum xhit even his mc die. It had a plot twist and turn it wont end until the author satisfied with his endin. Or makin money to satisfied the readers.   reply

They probably like the money, the characters they wrote, and not being bugged to make more chapters of a highly successful series. There's probably a lot contractual factors that come into play, the very real possibility (not really in manga but still) they'll continue the story without the original author. 8/10 times a graceful exit is better but ......   reply

If the story is popular enough then they'll let it continue even if it's reached a natural ending. Honestly, it's actually really hard to end a story well because the slow down pacing at the end is pretty hard... Just look at MHA, KHR, etc etc and it is especially the case for shounen. Personally, I don't actually mind when the story continues f......   reply
