there really aren't many situations as to why a woman and man couldn't date especially if it isn't fantasy, y'all aren't even siblings lmao. Sure maybe religion but most of the time it's their parents that don't want them to date and honestly...that's so dramatic.

Some ppl said its cus ur not allowed to date another religion but that can be fixed if you're not devoted to your religion or your s/o is willing to make the sacrifice to change religions but more often than not yall literally can still date/love with no issues as long as u don't get married ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

Ig hetero novels view forbidden love as enemies to lovers (ex. 2 ppl from opposing sides unable to be together bc of the people around them) or maybe something like cheating or falling in love with ur step sibling on the twisted side

Yeah it usually happens in R18 novels just for the fetish/sex scenes, I'm not too big on reading het novels tbh so I don't know enough about them I just hear Abt them from people ik
