Got a random flashback to something that happened a couple months ago and I thought I’d share it with y’all

Bro tell me why I was at church and these group of little girls randomly came up to me and started talking to me and they were like

“How old are you?”

And I said “19”

And they were like “19??? we thought you were 12”

dont get me wrong I know I don’t look my age

BUT 12????? REALLY?????

ON TOP OF THAT THEY DIDNT BELIEVE ME AT FIRST AND KEPT ASKING NE MORE QUESTIONS LIKE WHY AM I GETTING BULLIED BY A GROUP OF MIDDLE SCHOOLERS?????

Kids can be annoying and weird, I get that. But let's keep in mind that they are growing and just trying to adapt to this world with their growing age. The best thing you can do is just not to take them too seriously when they do stuff like this but treat them very seriously whenever else. And a lot of kids are pervert on top of that, and I hate that because parents always excuse it like "Awww he likes you!" Like no, ew, get your kid and get the fuck away from me. Hate is a strong word, sure they're annoying sometimes but we've all been there done that, and we all know the feeling of being treated like a nuisance just bc we're trying to interact/ask something. It's just the principle of if they're not doing any harm, be more patient since you're older and have a higher EQ than them. reply
