Hi I don't know how to say this but in few weeks I moved to Seoul to study on university, study more in korean, (because I wanted to enhance my pronounciation and expressions
) and work there for extra pocket money. Last night I was walking around on the street near on my apartment to buy some fried chicken, then suddenly there is a stinky ass probably highschool dude suddenly approach me to ask if I was lost? I was hella fucking confused and probably I looked a lost girl on the middle of the streets looking for a fried chicken store.
I told him that "no, I was just looking around" in korean (lying cause I'm not that type of person who tells what I do or go to someone I don't know or closed) that fucker starts making shock reaction and said "oh you speak korean I thought you were foreigner" ??? what (he probably mistook me a korean because I was pale southeast asian but what). That was the time I don't wanna continue that conversation with a random guy on the street and wishes I could just ignore him and buy the goddamn fried chicken. I was starving and told him "I'm a southeast asian, just know to speak korean and living here, It was nice to chat with you but I need to go" cause I had enough and start walking away.
I thought he was going to let me go but he catch-up to me and start yapping again like "wow you're good speaking korean" "do you live close here?" "how old are you?" and blah blah blah. Seriously, If you're in my situation you would pissed and wanted to punch that shit. He kept following me for like 10 mins so I keep walking on circles while thinking to run on the crowded place.
Dude I just want to eat a fried chicken man leave me alone.
After all those, thank god I bumped with my close classmates and without thinking I immediately ran to them in fear on that guy, after that, I was explaining to that dude idk like "Yeah my friends are here, I think you should go home now" I should've said fucked off now or sum whtv. But bro he starts asking my number cause he wanted to hangout with me sometimes because "we have a lot of common". Idk what the fuck is he on but I never told him something about myself or even MBTI (mbti is a personality type, here in korea they are so hype about this especially when it comes dating). My other classmate can't handle anymore and shush him off.
So I explained everything what happened and they're not shocked about it because this is often happening in Seoul.
All those chaos, I didn't get to chance to buy a fried chicken. Whoever that person is, thanks a lot.

Korean men suck and if you meet someone named Yunjae Lee who's birthday is on October 21 and is 172cm tall with shitty bowl cut go avoid him girl he's my enemy
Go get your fried chicken
ew, thank goodness you met people you knew!
i realized even if you're a nice person and not trying to be rude these idiots can't read expressions, body language, or your energy of wanting to get the fuck away, so you gotta tell it to them verbally, straight.
i dunno if this will help you but i found this phrase that works well for me:
"i'd appreciate it if you would stop..." following me / calling me / talking to me / whatever action you don't want.
so far everytime i use it, it's worked. and i'm talking straight up crazy intense dudes too. one, you're still bein' polite, but two, you're tellin' them to stop.
and for your safety next time, never be too nice and let them know where you come from and that you live there. you don't need to say anything. also, you can always whip out the i'm meeting up with my boyfriend excuse too, even if you don't have one.
you def deserve that fried chicken!!!
Don't go around telling people where you're from, let them think you're korean or whatever else they assume. Don't deny or confirm anything. Give no info at all about yourself tbh. Stay safe, Korea is one shitty place
thank god you're safe i would be crying if there's some random dude keep following me
lolololl u really being real about stinky ass
