Am i overthinking or not?

Okay uh my friend last night told every friends and me "thank you for making me feel loved/being my friend for abit, it made my live worth a living." cus ARE YOU GONNA BE OKAY?? He's been appreciating everyone for listening to his vents and being there for him even though "he wasn't a great friend for awhile." no my baby you were going through alot and it's completely understandable on why u reacted such ways, its hard to take thing so positively at that position not excusable ofc but hey regretting it and feeling bad abt it and want to change is a sign that you do care deeply abt other ppl. I don't wanna overthink things and make our other friends panic over this but it's just so weird to me with all these sudden appreciation. Now they haven't even responded to me it's been like 7 hours rn since I last received that message is this dude just giving his appreciations or he's planning something
