There's this one neighbor of mine that whenever we meet he always glare at me like I did something so loathful to him even though I didnt even know him and did nothing to him. My little brother thinks gay is an insult lmfao and I said that he likes boys (as a joke since he always talks about how he hates girls) and he got really mad and said "I'm not gay" I'm glad that my parents weren't with us since homosexuality is basically unspoken of in my family. My parents were never really Homophobic, however my grandparents are very homophobic since they are Jehova's witnesses and ig they are really strict with what they do since they don't allow blood transfusions from what I've heard   2 reply

my parents? they're not rude to lgbt people directly but sometimes they use gay as an insult and poke fun or express disgust at them with me and i have vehemently told them i dont like it ( because i'm trans and bisexual but they don't know that) but they still do it   reply

Let me introduce you to my whole family. They are all both homophobic and transphobic (except for my siblings who are too young to know that LGBTQ+ is considered an abomination by my family.) Just the perfect family for a closeted teen whose both genderfluid and pansexual like me.   reply
