Hi OP, I definitely recommend therapy, and after a few sessions you may want to talk with your therapist about medication (if you're in the US they can't prescribe meds, but they can help guide you). How about just relaxing yourself and observing others, like the other comment said being emotional isn't necessarily bad, infact it'll help you understand others and yourself. I relate to a lot but I always blame myself for everything. Anyhow what’s worked for me to at least like calm down? is basically just being supportive all the time, kind stuff like that.
