Are people actually scared of death??
I see manga/book/movie characters being scared shitless of death, doing anything they can to escape it or cheat it in some way.
Not to be edgy or anything, but unless it's like, the slow agonizing death from an uncurable desease, idgaf.
I'm not into pain, and it's not like I want to die, but it doesn't feel like it's that big of a deal. It happens.
Like, at the slight sign that my life could be over (burning building, lost at sea, held at gunpoint, whatever scenario that would require too much effort in order to survive) I'd just roll over and die.
It's because death is one of those things that human beings have never actually been able to find out what it is. What happens after it, is it truly over and there is nothing after it.
