Yes it is okay. If they still insist, you do the same thing the person who wronged you did, and never apologize but ask them to move on and stop being mad. If they manage to move on, then call them dumbasses and keep holding your grudge cuz aint nobody about to tell you wtf to do with your own emotions.   reply

There are different meanings to moving on when people tell you to move on. One is to just forgive and forget the other is for you to not be held in shackles by your grudges but that doesn't mean you will forget. I am for the latter. Don't deny what you feel. Of you are angry then by all mean be angry. It takes time to move on. Just remember to neve......   reply

Been there and it will do nothing but hurt yourself. That hate just brews inside of you and makes you a much worse person. Learn to let go, not so they can live without punishment but so you can live without hate. Everyone deserves to live without their own grudges weighing them down.   1 reply

There's nothing wrong with it. Those who said we dont need to hold grudges dont love history lessons and learn from past mistakes of our forebears, unless you're from the Christian religion (the only religion that teaches something about forgiving and forgetting and loving others beyond sin and despite what they are AND also preserve history), t......   4 reply

Yes it's ok. U don't HAVE to forgive people for things they've done to you if it costs u ur happiness. Sometimes it's good for urself to forgive and move on, but forgiveness doesn't always come with a sense of relief and you might be left with a feeling of unfairness. I forgive almost everytime too but sometimes when people tell me I should forgive......   reply

I remember a teacher i had when I was like 6 called me out for not doing work fast enough in front of the whole class and tried to make me feel bad, I'm still mad about it, I think it's fine to hold grudges as long as you don't act on them and do something you'll regret   reply
