There are other authors!!!!

I feel like people only ever recommend one author (MXTX); but there are so many authors who write much better work imo... For example, Meatbun and Priest are both incredible authors and I have enjoyed more or less every work i've read from them. Meatbun's work is heavy and extremely angsty so I'd ease into that with caution, especially BAB that novel was horrifying. However, one of Priest's most well known works The Defectives is so incredibly good and different from most other danmeis I've seen, it's like a mix of futuristic sci-fi star trek angst with romance on the side and it's so fucking good bro. I Became a God in a Horror Game by Pot Fish Chili is also super interesting and angsty so i'd give that a go also if you ever get the chance!
