My confession didn't turn out well..

This happened like 6 years ago back when I was in middle school. I made a challenge for myself to confess to my crush (pretty dumb challenge). Since it my last year and basically my last week of school,I decided to give him a love letter cause I'm not brave enough to confess directly. I asked my best friend to send the letter to my crush.The boys were playing soccer during that time.After they finished,he went to the back of the building to read the letter.I was so nervous and scared.I didn't see him after awhile. Like a few hours passed,my friends and I sat together making a circle for our group when suddenly a guy friend of mine came up to my group.He showed me the letter and ripped the letter while smiling(thinking it was funny. He and I like to mess around with each other a lot).My friends were SHOOK but I just stared at it. Tbh,I already knew it would happened.I just want to put an end to my feelings for him so I can finally move on. A few years passed, I went to the same high school with my crush and my guy friend. I asked him why he ripped my letter and his answer was " Idk he just handed it over to me and told me to rip it off so I just did. I'm sorry for doing that in front of you :( " I don't have any hard feelings whatsoever. I didn't even cried. Maybe my feelings were not to genuine from the start idk. He already has a gf too from another school.Their relationship is still going strong for like 6 years so I kinda hoping they will eventually end up together <3
