how do you guys cole w jealousy

idk im just getting jealous of my friends having other friends and its becoming a problem lol... like i was so used to being the only person they were both close to but now that college is happening its just slowly changing. i really dont want to be because im being less energetic and they know somethings wrong w me but i just dont want to say im petty. how do you guys cope/distract urselves??

befriend their friends? This way you will get rid of the jealousy and treat them as friends too. Althoughhh maybe you won't bc of that jealousy. But man really, the easiest answer and solution is, Accept it. Your friends having other friends is literally inevitable. You can't control that too since that's part of life. get more friends? literally, get more friends. I don't understand people who get jealous of their friends getting new friends; just get other ones. it's like going to the supermarket and buying more fruits once you've run out...? just get more...? sure you're a bit sad, but like, half a year and you won't even remember their names. 3 reply

Well I understand that but it's not in your power or right to tell your friends not to have different friends. Ppl grow and we change sometimes and maybe we'll get new friends here and there but we still always care and remember our oldest friends and those memories we made. You could communicate with them that you’re feeling this way and maybe figure out how you can spend more time together or even expand your friend circle and befriend these new friends of your friends.
