Although it wasn't strictly a BL story, it contained some subtle elements. "Banana Fish" had me in tears. Ash and Eiji were two people who simply couldn't find their happy ending. In the end, when Ash ran to meet Eiji but never made it, and then Eiji discovered what had happened, it hit me hard. I heard that Eiji didn't cut his hair after Ash left ......
