I’ve been there, but never had the guts to go through with it, but I know what it feels like to just want to disappear. You say you don’t want to see any doctors, so even if you went to one, it may not help if you’re not willing to talk to them. I never tried a hotline, but the people there are trained to talk to people. I went to therapy ......   reply

Go to the doctor. Tell them you're thinking about jumping out in front of stuff and get help. If you'd like to start smaller, call a hotline first! The greatest thing I've ever learned in life is that getting help WILL MAKE IT BETTER. Getting help is NOT the end of the world, it's quite the opposite. No amount of thinking can get you out of that s......   reply

You should probably talk to a doctor, or call the crisis line if you really want to die at the moment. Also don’t do it by overdosing that shit hurts so bad that when it’s over ur suicidal thoughts will be gone Don’t die, things feel like they can and will get better for you   reply

Hi I have a mental illness and you truly need to see a doctor for this. No one in your circle (friends, family) are gonna understand and properly help you. It can be scary at first but seeing a doctor for these problems is the most important thing otherwise it's just gonna get worse. There's no need to be scared or ashamed by seeing a doctor!   reply

i'm in the exact same boat, but i'm still struggling through university instead of work. I've struggled all of my life, so it didn't just begin or anything and i hate to say that sometimes it just doesn't go away. HOWEVER, I feel like with the right doctor/therapist/meds you can begin to improve and live a happier life. I'm being hypocritical tho......   reply

This might not be the best place to ask but it’s not the worse. There are trolls on the internet everywhere including here. However, from some of the post I’ve seen there’s quite a few of you struggling with mental health on this site and y’all are transparent and open about your experience. The only reason I really wouldn’t recommend t......   reply

Haii you might wanna try distracting yourself by doing a lot of hobbies such as reading, crocheting, playing games, and going out--traveling would definitely be helpful since nature might help you calm down, well just try to do things that you enjoy and helps you to relax. I'm not saying that being depressed is wrong, it is totally fine to lay back......   reply

Ive been in a similar situation and finally went on a good day to a doctor and got some meds. They definitely helped a lot! Even if it wouldn’t have helped, it would’ve been a step forward. Be kind to yourself!!! Baby steps are the way to go. Be it just brushing your teeth or eating a meal you should think positively. Talking to people is al......   reply

If you think you have depression then consult a therapist. Their job is to help people like you, like me. Talking and having someone guide you through this tough stage will help you. Remember, at the end of the tunnel, there is always light, you just have to try to get there.   reply
