Have you ever cried over your pet? im crying so hard rn because my cat has an abscess, i thought he's ok because at first there were just bald spots on his fur. but the next day it was festering and seemed to have burst because he was scratching it. i'm sad because i can't take him to the vet, i don't have the money.... now i'm just cleaning the wound with nacl and wound medicine... he's still as lively as ever, but i just feel bad seeing him scratching the wound... omfg why am i so poor?
having a pet is a serious responsibility and you should have considered whether you are financially able to care for another life before committing to it. you absolutely need to do everything you can to scrounge up the money to take him to the vet for an exam at the very least. try selling things you don't need, doing some online surveys that pay, ...... 1 reply
IM NOT A VETERINARIAN but I would suggest getting him clothing or something to cover the wound so his scratching doesn’t bother it as much and you could also try gong to the vet and asking what they would do in the case of abscess, and possibly asking for help because I have seen some vets that would rather help the animal than leave it hurt beca...... 1 reply
