People always ship Toshiro and Gintoki from Gintama but I personally think Toshiro and Sougo made more sense based on their dynamics (in a more...SM sense). I'm not a shipper, that's just how I was feeling watching the anime.
But it's been a hot second since I watched this so I am probably misremembering the character dynamics...
