I’m gonna be honest, you just live with it. Yeah he may or may not share the same interest but if someone makes you feel lesser or ashamed of an hobby or something you like then you know that you weren’t meant to be (and that they’re an asshole). Tbh there's not really anything you can do. Maybe try to defend yourself that you only like shounen ai or your reading smut for the plot or you were just curious about it. Maybe you can even try to be casual and reccommed some fluffy cute shounen ai and say they are your favourites. My condolences and all the best !   reply
