A weird mix of both, I’ve always had a pretty active imagination so it’s pretty easy for me to picture the characters decently vividly. It’s not like I can clearly picture a human but it’s close. I’d compare it to a really well rendered piece of fan art or sum.   reply

If the cover has the characters on it, I'll try to imagine everything else in that style, if not Idc. My brain imagines a manequin with whatever description I got of the character tho so usually in a semi realism/anime style so yeh :D   reply

I think it depends on the fact that whether or not they have a manhwa or manga or any form of illustration, if there's no such thing to work off I just imagine everything as anime, except for the face. The face is just kinda blacked out   reply

i was just thinking about this recently lol it's strange because there are books that make me think of anime characters and there are those I imagine realistically. LNs, for example, or fantasy / magical realism like lonely castle in the mirror or priory of the orange tree : I imagine them as anime hayao miyazaki style? for books like those by bran......   reply
