Once you get into BL you can never go back

So I was once an avid het romance reader, simped and shipped straight couples only with an unparalleled enthusiasm and vigour but then I got into BL and suddenly I hated reading het romance, it felt so disgusting and I couldn't tolerate it (still do)...I thought it was kind of like a natural response of sorts since a lot of ppl have reported to exp the same reaction but I was starting to wonder what if I get tired of bl ( which ik is bound to happen one day but hopefully I didn't jinx it)... so what are your thoughts and experiences?

Romance is romance, as long as it is well written it doesn't matter who the main couple is. I feel like people who have a sudden change in response to heterosexual romance is that you're suddenly in a new habit of something else and once you go back to the old thing, it seems bad or you only remember the worser things, when the things you are curr...... 1 reply
