Anybody here learning japanese? HELP

sorry for asking here but like i tried asking reddit or quora nobody really answered but im learning kanji rn and im soo lost how did you guys start and where and how?? im learning first grade kanji but even then in a sentence its a complete different meaning and pronunciation do you guys actually learn kanji one by one and memorized it or do you learn immediately with a sentence what is your method?

Japanese Speaker here! I've seen that many people use the Genki 1 Notebook and Work book! Specifically the orange one which is Volume 3 Level 1. You learn using the textbook + work book combination and it teaches you starting from elementary/most used kanji including all of the different uses of the Kanji.
