I was the same way I learned hiragana first since it seemed easier but I felt I want getting anywhere since all the other websites or YouTube videos Were telling me one thing and then something else when I searched it up. I tried Pimsleur it gives lessons on basic greetings and formal ways to say “hi” or “nice weather”.
