Christians and Homophobia
No hate to anyone here, I just want to ask a genuine question and I want to hear your honest opinions/answer about it.
So, As a christian myself I never understood with the massive homophobia in the christian community. Can a gay dude be Christian?
Most people might answer it as "No, because that would mean you're sinning" but aren't we always sining? For example, Me on this site LoL
There's nobody in this world who's actually an "angel" or "hasn't sin" and I think people are always exaggerating it when it comes to Lgbtq. So, Can gay people be Christian?
Also ye dont give me that "ask reddit" crap. If i wanted to do that, I would already.
Christianity is like a big ol bandaid that many Christians use as a pass to hate on others for being different. There is no "love thy neighbor as thyself" there is only "if you believe in God, then he forgives your sins because you believe and Jesus died on the cross and blah blah blah..." It has roots in corrupt people, hence the Protestant Reform......
